Why Calico?

Weird name, right? What's it got to do with health? Let us explain!

Calico stands for "Calories In, Calories Out", an arbitrary word which we think summarises health and wellbeing into a nifty little name that we love!

While some have turned to Kilojoules as their unit measure of energy (Kiliko?), Calories are still the most widely recognised term in the US, UK and beyond.

Health & Prevention

Calico is a health and wellness company focused on diet, fitness, healthy ageing and disease prevention.

It's a health platform that delivers free online health diagnosis & consultation, and free fitness & nutrition programs & tools to help improve your health, achieve your goals, and live healthier, happier & longer.

Calico also offers pharmacy services in connection with our pharmacy parters. We're currently developing this service in Australia before we roll out the service internationally.

Calico Outdoors

Installed every 500m, Calico Fitness Totems work with your online goals to easily show the activity (intensity = time and distance) that you need to put in to achieve your fitness goals.

With your targets set online, the Fitness Totems turn public space into your very own private gym.

Calico Fitness App

The free Calico smartphone app lets you bring the smarts with you. Using the phones GPS, the Calico app allows you to track activity on the go, get real time motivation from friends and take part in programs, on and off the Calico Outdoor tracks.

Calico Nutrition

Calico provides personalised nutrition plans and breaks down what is right for you. Look out for Calico meal plans and Calico nutrition software and apps coming soon!

Calico and the Community

We love healthy communities!

We work in partnership with local authorities and provide the Calico Fitness Totems free of charge to help create more opportunity for activity. The council provides the space, we provide the smarts and you provide the action.
